“ My favorite fondue from the cheese ones to the Toblerone fondue Their Rösti (kinda like hash browns if you’re not familiar) are authentic, I couldn’t recommend more)) Not the frozen crap that some restos serve. Other dishes are mouthwatering too yet you can still try them at German club here in Makati or Brotzeit in BGC, but THIS fondue is only here at Old Swiss Inn.:) The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable which is a huge plus. They also sell some dairy products (we do love the yogurt, it’s like in Russia) and some other goods like salmon spread which is super yummy. Sometimes it’s hard to find a parking spot, and the street is dark and dirty in rainy seasons. Also, seems like there’s always ongoing road construction or repair.. though it’s not the resto’s fault, of course)) So, 5 stars as it deserves! ”
“ We were invited to a birthday celebration here and I just loved the food...well most of them. They started us with some sausages and cheese fondue...very nice. Then I had the classic Caesar salad and mushroom soup...also very good. Perhaps the star of the show was the roast beef. They also had baby back ribs but not the freshest meat so this was disappointing. The Aglio Olio pasta and the baked salmon were OK. For dessert they had chocolate fondue and your choice of ripe mango, apple, marshmallow (made in-house and quite good), and cake. Service was excellent. I think the place could use some renovation though. ”
“ With several fancy restaurants in the area, this one is like a kept-gem; just there secure in its worth, waiting for you to discover. No fuss, and will delight you with its deliciousness. Classy place. Calm ambience. Good music. Simply good food that will surely comfort you. I also go here to buy farm products. The spinach artichoke & cheese pimiento are sooo good (not in the photos). ”
“ It has been years since my last visit, but I was glad to have come to the Old Swiss Inn again. The ambience felt the same as before and I took my sister and nieces so we could enjoy the cuisine, most especially the fondue selections. My nieces who haven't been there before are now die-hard converts. Some may say it is pricey and there are other alternatives. I disagree with these naysayers as I feel our dining experience was worth the cost. Besides, I've not come across these supposed alternatives to date. The friendly and well-trained staff are beyond accommodating, too, and deserve gratuities for their efforts. I will be sure to return more frequently accompanied by my nieces who are gastronomically adventurous and have robust appetites to rival mine. ”
“ A classic! My family used to always come here for the fondue. Visited again recently and it’s good to know that the food is still really good. For a party of five, we ordered the sausage platter, corned beef, schnitzel, and rice, and we were all so full. ”
“ A weird place. But also not bad. I didn’t expect Swiss food in Manila. So random! However, it tasted quite authentic. At least the goulash soup I had. But they also have fondue and raclette. But I was alone and it was lunch time. So I didn’t try it. It smelled good though. They also have some groceries for take out. Cheeses, cold cuts and yoghurts. Service is attentive. But the place itself is…again: weird. Like if someone said ‚what do you think cosiness looks like? Let‘s do the opposite.‘ but all in all good lunch choice ”
“ My wife was already at the restaurant with friends and took my order while I was still on my way driving. I ordered corned beef not knowing what it looks like. Once at the restaurant, I found it as nilagang corned beef. It tasted a bit bland. But perhaps it's just me looking for the fatty beef broth taste. I tried my wife's chicken in mushroom sauce. I enjoyed it more. As expected, cheese fondue was excellent. ”
